After a peaceful night in Thermopolis, we explored a charming local street market before heading off-road into the backcountry near Black Mountain. This sacred ground is where my parents’ ashes are scattered, and it was an honor to spend quiet time there and fire a few rounds from my lever-action .30-30 in their memory. We then visited the resting places of my grandparents and great-grandparents, paying tribute to the generations that came before me.
