BOXING: the Rear Uppercut

BOXING: the Rear Uppercut

The Rear Uppercut or 6🥊 The rear uppercut or 6 is a bent arm punch thrown in an upwards direction from the rear. The power of this punch is especially dictated by the hips. Dropping the rear hand straight down to desired height (not too deep), turning on the ball of the back foot (activating the hips), punch in a vertically upwards motion. The aim is to make contact with opponent’s underside of chin. A well-executed uppercut can be a knockout punch 💯 TotalFighter fit is a Boxing gym in Wollongong that also offers Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in its core services (https://totalfighterfit.com.au/) Train with Dane & find your Strong!
