"Ok why dont you just talk to him." Sam said grabbing one of the teddy bears Joe gave Lexi out of the box in the corner. "What? Youre the number one person always saying what a jerk he is and he needs to pay for what he did." Lexi said. "Yeah but I think hes gone through enough Lexi. I mean hes gone completely bonkers. You should have seen him at the show yesterday. He busted his hand for petes sake." "Is he ok?" Lexi asked. She hated him right now but she still cared. "Hes fine. But I think he would be way better if you just talk to him. You dont necessarily need to get back with him. Just talk to him." "I dont know Sam. Its just that I feel like such an idiot for believing him. And Im scared that when I see him all of the feelings are going to come back and Im just going to get hurt again." Lexi said whiping away a stray tear. "I know hun." She walked over to Lexi. "I just dont want you to regret this later. Hes a good kid." Sam said. "Fine. Just not right now." Lexi said laying down in the bed and covering her face. "I just need to think about what im going to say to him first." "Thats fair enough. Just hurry. Im scared hes really willing to stay here for a month." They both laughed and Sam gave her sister a hug. She walked out of the room and closed the door behind her. Joe got up quickly. "So?" "She said just give her a little bit of time. Shes quite not ready yet." "Ok. Come on Joe lets go home and you can sleep and then come back tomorrow." Nick said pushing Joe to leave. "Nope." He simply said. "What?" Kevin asked. "I said I wasnt going to leave until she talked to me. And thats what Im going to do." He sat back down. "Ok you need to stop being dumb and lets go." Kevin said beginning to get frustrated. Sam tugged on Kevins arm and just gave him a look. "Ugh. Fine. But just so you know I dont think Sam is going to put up with you for long." "Its ok." Sam said. "Thanks Sam." Joe said smiling up at her. She gave him a wink. "Ok how about we go get some coffee." She said. "Everyone agreed. Joe you want anything?" "No thanks." Everyone except Joe took off and went to go get some coffee and even ended up going to watch a movie. After a while Lexi looked over at the clock and saw how late it was. She woke up with the biggest urge to go to the restroom but was scared of getting out and being face to face with Joe. She slowly opened the door and saw Joe laying on the floor asleep. She smiled because he looked cute spread out on the floor. She went back into her room and grabbed an extra pillow and blanket. She slowly lifted Joes head and put the pillow underneath. He was too exhausted to even notice. She covered him with the blanket and went off to the restroom. She was hungry so she headed downstairs to go make a quick PB&J sandwich. She sat at the table when she heard footsteps coming into the kitchen. "Sam?" She called out not knowing who it was. "Nope." Joe came out of the corner and stood there with his hands in his pockets. "Can we talk now?" He stood there vulnerable waiting for her response.
