Sonic Generations (PC) Shadow Rival Battle

A duel with Shadow at Final Rush? He's hanging out in the second set of zones and has the yellow chaos emerald. Of all the rival battles, this one is my most hated... however I feel I did better than expected. What isn't seen in this battle is Shadow's powerup or his attacks. Fall behind and he'll start throwing Chaos Spears. Letting him powerup will send you onto the same runway as Sonic's with shadow firing Chaos Spears ahead of you. Also Shadow's theme from from Shadow the Hedgehog plays - All Hail Shadow. This run was done on Hard-mode. Hard-mode requires you to get one more energy ball than normal.
