To make the masala paste combine the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dhania powder, amchur, salt with a little water & mix well into a paste 2. Slice the baingan and coat with the masala paste. Prick with a fork for the masala to soak through the baingan 3. Heat a non-stick tava, grease it with oil, add the baingan slices and cook on both sides till golden brown 4.
