Packers vs Cowboys Recap: Week 5 2017

Subscribe:    / thatsgoodsports   Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 35-31 in an exciting game that was won on another 4th quarter game winning drive by quarterback Aaron Rodgers. This time A-Rod was left with a 1:13 left on the clock. Green Bay needed 3 to tie the game, but after Rodgers converted a key 3rd down on the run the offense had the time to take a couple shots at the end zone. Wide receiver Davante Adams caught the game winning touchdown, 10 days after being carted off the field, and being hospitalized for a brutal hit he suffered against the Chicago Bears and Danny Trevathan. This was a back and forth game with several lead changes. Dak Prescott connected twice with Cole Beasley for early TD’s, one to Dez Bryant, and Ezekiel Elliott was effective in the run game. Despite the fact that Mason Crosby missed two extra points, the Packers bounced back after ever Dallas drive. A big boost on the offense came from rookie running back Aaron Jones who finished the game with 125 rushing yards, 1 TD and a 6.6 average per carry. Packers corner Damarious Randall deserves credit for a game changing pick six and a pass defense late in the game on a free play for the Cowboys.
