Follow me on Instagram   / cookedbysabeen_   ➡️Afghani Carrot Pulao,Chicken Tikka & Chocolate chip Cookies | Cooked by Sabeen    • Afghani Carrot Pulao,Chicken Tikka & Choco...   ➡️Banana Bread easy All Purpose Flour 1 & 3/4 cups 3 ripe Bananas 2 Eggs 1.5 cups sugar 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence Option: sprinkle 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder on top. Add chopped Walnuts. Preheated oven 325 degrees Fahrenheit For 1 hour 5 minutes or until skewer comes out clean. ➡️VEGGIE PULAO 3 tbsp ghee or butter 2 tbsp oil 2 tsp salt 1 tsp ajinomoto( optional) 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp cumin1/2 star anise1 inch cinnamon 4 cloves 3 pods black cardamom1 bay leaf 1 chicken cube 1 large onion, sliced1 tsp ginger garlic paste 2 chilli, slit 1 tomato, finely chopped 1 large potato cube 1/4 cup peas 1 carrot, chopped10 -12 florets cauliflower 1/4 beans, chopped 5-6 florets broccoli 1/4 cup capsicum 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped 2 tbsp mint,finely chopped ½ tsp garam masala 2 cup basmati rice, soaked 20 minutes 4 cup water 1 tbsp lemon juice INSTRUCTIONS Soak rice Peel the carrots and potatoes. Nip off both the ends of beans and chop all of them to bite sized pieces. heat ghee & oil and saute whole dry spices( cumin cardamom etc) saute 1 onion untill translucent. followed by ginger garlic paste and green chilli. add 1 tomato and saute until tomatoes turn soft and mushy. add 1 potato, peas, carrot, cauliflower and beans. Cook till potatoes are almost done. Add capsicum and broccoli now. Add coriander, mint, garam masala powder, pepper and salt. saute for a minute. At this stage break cube and mix. Now add basmati rice (soaked for 20 minutes) and fry for couple of minutes gently. now warm water, ajinomoto & lemon juice and stir well. Cook at medium to high flame uncovered, till water evaporates. Then cover it on low flame for 10-15 minutes. finally, serve veg pulao along with onion and green chutney raita. Tips: Use good quality rice. Soak for 30 minutes. Cut veggies into bite size pieces. Use warm water. Choice of veggies totally open- ended. Use whatever you like.
