Pudina pulao 🍃 Is that one pot meal which everyone needs to try at least once! It’s tasty and easy to make! Ingredients I used: For Pudina paste: 1 cup Pudina leaves 1/2 cup coriander leaves 5 green chillies (customize as preferred, but I’d suggest more than 2) 3 to 4 garlic cloves 1 inch ginger 1/4 cup water For rice: 1 cup rice, soaked in water 2 to 3 tbsp oil/ghee 5 peppercorns 3 cloves 2 cardamom 1 small cinnamon stick 2 bayleaves 1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds 10 to 12 cashews 1 and 1/2 onion, thinly sliced 2 small tomatoes, roughly chopped salt 1/4 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional) 1 cup green peas 1/2 cup carrots, chopped 3/4 cup water 1 tsp kitchen king masala Procedure: Blend together Pudina/mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, garlic and green chillies to form a paste. Heat ghee or oil in cooker and add your whole spices, cashews. Fry till the cashews slightly change colour (they will get cooked further with onions) Add onions and fry till golden brown Add tomatoes and cook till their peel starts to come off. Add the paste, peas, carrots and mix well. Add rice and mix well again. Lastly add kitchen king masala and water and pressure cook it. Serve it with dahi/raita.
