This morning Jonathan Pryke will be preaching on ‘The Church We Want to Be’ from Acts 2: 42 - The process of coming out of lockdown gives us a good opportunity to stand back and think afresh about what church life is all about. What kind of church does God want us to be? Jonathan Pryke leads us to find the answers by looking at the early church in Acts. Dan McBride's children’s talk is on ‘Don't Forget God' from Daniel 1 - Daniel lived at a bad time for God's people. After years of being ignored by them God allowed the powerful nation of Babylon to attack. They took God's people - including Daniel - as prisoners back to Babylon and began to mould them into good little babylonians.
