Spyro Gyra - Morning Dance

Every time spring comes around, I'm always reminded of this awesome track by the jazz fusion band Spyro Gyra, with its outstanding arrangements and joyous vibe. Jay Beckenstein's alto saxophone performance is the main highlight here, but I also love the marimba and steel drums played by Dave Samuels. Morning Dance became Spyro Gyra's biggest hit ever, peaking at #24 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1979 and going all the way to #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
