As the main planner of this trip, I wanted to ensure smooth travel from place to place. Being in another country can be difficult and nerve racking if you don’t know how to get around. If you are someone like me who is directionally challenged, you may want to ensure you travel in a group like I did with my boyfriend and bestie @_tmprodigy ☑️ Even if you choose to travel as a group, make sure you download these 4 apps in advance: 1️⃣ Suica: a card for not only loading up money but will give you an IC for your train tickets. 2️⃣ SmartEx: Shinkansen train app that will allow you to travel across Japan from prefecture to prefecture 3️⃣ GO: an app similar to Uber but more frequent than Ubers. 4️⃣ Klook: Best place to find events across the country.
