Gears of War: Reloaded is a remaster of the original 2006 game, which is set 14 years after "Emergence Day" on the planet Sera. The plot follows disgraced COG soldier Marcus Fenix as he is broken out of prison by his friend Dominic Santiago to lead Delta Squad in a last-ditch effort to defeat the subterranean Locust Horde. The squad's mission is to deploy a Lightmass Bomb deep within the Locust tunnels to destroy the enemy's stronghold and save the last remnants of humanity.
