The weekly protests are led by more ardent factions of Sudan’s sprawling pro-democracy network that refuse to negotiate with the military leaders. In a separate anti-government protest held in eastern Khartoum, a man was killed after being shot in the chest by Sudanese security forces. Sudan has been marred in turmoil since the country's leading general launched a coup and upended the country's fragile democratic transition in October 2021. A preliminary agreement to store the democratic transition was signed last December. Talks are ongoing to reach a final deal. =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
