Office Lunch Box 🍱 . I packed this quick and easy Masala Rice along with some Salad and green chutney for my office lunchbox. . Recipe of Masala Rice : . 🍱 Heat around 4-5 tsp of oil, add 1/2 tsp of kalonji/nigella seeds, 2 slitted green chilies & 2 dry red chillies, allow it to crackle for few seconds. . 🍱 Add 1 large size of potatoes cut into thin wedges, fry it on a high flame for about 4-5 mins. . 🍱 Add 1 medium size of onion cut into thin slices, 4-5 cloves of crushed garlic cloves & 1/4 cup of green peas, cook it for another 4-5 mins. . 🍱 Lower the flame, add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 2 tsp kitchen king masala (you can also add pav bhaji masala/ Sambhar masala/ chana masala/ garam masala or any other masala of your choice), salt to taste, add 2-3 tsp of water and cook the spices for 2-3 mins. . 🍱 Splash around 3-4 tsp of water, cover & cook it on a low flame for another 4-5 mins or until the potatoes are completely cooked. . 🍱 Add in around 1.5 cup of cooked leftover rice, gently mix it well, finish it off with some chopped coriander leaves and its ready. . #foodgasm #foodstagram #recipeoftheday #recipeshare #lunchboxes #tiffin #tiffinidea .
