TOPIC: WHAT CAN WE OFFER JESUS AS OUR GIFT EVERY DAY? 1st Reading Isaiah 60:1-6 Responsorial Psalm Psalms 72:1-2, 7-8, 10-11, 12-13 2nd Reading Ephesians 3:2-3A, 5-6 Alleluia Matthew 2:2 Gospel Matthew 2:1-12 Today is the Feast of the Epiphany of our Lord. The Magi brought gold, frankincense and myrrh, traveling a long distance in search of a great king about to be born. But instead of finding this king in a palace, they were met by a baby in swaddling clothes lying on a manger fit for animal feeding. Yet, they continued to believe that this was the promised Messiah, and even prostrated themselves in front of Him, offering their gifts. Are you ready to believe and offer yours? This is the 1006th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
