Is Assassin's Creed Mirage's Combat Actually Good?

Is Assassin's Creed Mirage's Combat A Return To Roots? Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been out for around a week or two now, and I’ve just finished playing this game to 100% completion, which is a first for me since I have still yet to finish the other entries into the franchise. I was in the middle of trying to complete Unity when this game came out, which I quickly abandoned to play this as I refused to have this game spoiled to me in any capacity. This was the first time I’ve ever been able to play an Assassin’s Creed game on launch. The whole experience felt a lot like a grand event. It felt intense, a lot is riding on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, for better and for worse. It feels as though the fate of the entire franchise was hanging in the balance almost, or at least it felt that way when you look at the discussion surrounding the game. Can this franchise be redeemed in the eyes of the fans? Can it rectify its past shortcomings while charting a new path, all while honouring what has come before? Before the game released, just hours before I spoke with a friend of mine who was contemplating purchasing Assassin's Creed Mirage, on if he should take that metaphorical leap of faith, while using the perfect symbolism of Assassin's Creed Revelations. Was he going to be like Altair and purchase the game, push on playing these games, even if it doesn't live up to expectations on being a good Assassin's Creed game just to see it for himself, or was he going to be like Ezio, and have the humility to say he has seen enough for one life, he has done his part. 🎮 If you're a fan of Assassin's Creed, this video is for you!
