Eleanor Roosevelt

Many remember Eleanor Roosevelt as the First Lady of the United States, but she was also a trailblazer of American diplomacy. Starting in 1946, she represented the United States as a delegate to the newly formed United Nations and played a leading role in advancing human rights.
