5 year warranty ac|5 year comprehensive warranty|what is 5 year warranty|Split AC with 5 year warranty The 5-year Comprehensive Warranty and free standard installation will be applicable only on Inverter Split ACs and not on any Window ACs. 5-year Comprehensive Warranty covers repairs, rectifications or replacement of the components including the PCB of IDU or ODU, IDU Evaporator Coil, ODU Condenser Coil, Gas Charging. Defective parts and components will be replaced with a functionally working, repaired or new equivalent part. Customers will, however, need to bear visitation charges, as applicable, at the time of Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS), repair or replacement under the Comprehensive Warranty, after the first year from the date of installation. The transportation charges, if any, to and from the service facility, if required, will be charged extra, at actuals to the customer. The Comprehensive Warranty excludes all types of air filters, all plastic and metal parts and remote handset. PCB defects arising out of 24x7 usage, huge voltage spikes, lightning strikes, floods and non-compliance of adequate earthing of the AC, faulty voltage stabiliser and tampering of the PCB by unauthorised personnel are not covered under the Comprehensive Warranty. PMS will be provided by the Company on the customer’s request. It is advisable to undertake PMS at least twice a year to ensure smooth functioning of the unit.
