Dutch Bucket Assembly

Taking two gallon pails and turning them into dutch buckets. Items needed Two gallon plastic pails Lids optional (prefer food grade) 3/4" grommet 1 per pail 1/2" elbows 2 per pail 3" length of 1/2" PVC pipe 1 per pail 1-1/2" length of 1/2" PVC pipe 1 per pail Five gallon paint strainer 1 per pail The paint strainer keeps the media from exiting the drain and keeps the roots in the pail. You can use larger pails but it will take more media to fill them. I found no difference in plant performance between 5 and 2 gallon pails.
