Sheer khurma is a festive pudding made by simmering fine vermicelli with milk, dates, nuts and sugar. Sheer khurma is a Persian term, where ‘sheer’ means ‘milk’ and ‘khurma’ means ‘dates’. This delicious and rich dessert is made on the day of Ramadan.
