Paladins | Game 9 | Payload Gameplay

Paladins | Game 9 | Payload Gameplay

Little break from the new sieged mode, still looking to get another Survival mode but hope you enjoy this video. In Payload, one team attacks while the other defends. The attacking team must escort their payload into the defending team's base while the defenders push it back and hold long enough for the timer to run out. The payload only advances when at least one attacker is close to it, but won't move if there are defenders near it. The payload will start to move backwards after sitting idle for too long. There are several checkpoints along the road that will prevent the payload from falling further behind. Combat in Paladins is also nearly entirely skillshot-based, meaning projectiles can be dodged. Although each champion has its own personality and core abilities, to get around Paladins' much larger wide open Maps the real character variation comes from a deckbuilding Cards System that augments a champion in different ways.
