Today, in this video, we are going to discuss a very important topic related to PM Kisan Application (पीएम किसान एप्लीकेशन) and how cyber criminals are using fake apps shared on WhatsApp and third-party websites to hack mobile phones, bank accounts, and even WhatsApp accounts of innocent farmers. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) is a government scheme launched by the Government of India to provide direct financial support to farmers. Millions of farmers across India are registered under this scheme and regularly receive benefits directly into their bank accounts. But cybercriminals have started taking advantage of this trust. They create fake PM Kisan Apps and share them on WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, or third-party APK download websites. Once you install these fake apps, they can steal your bank details, OTPs, WhatsApp data, and even empty your bank account. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a flagship scheme of the Government of India. Under this scheme, small and marginal farmers receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments directly into their bank account. To check beneficiary status, update Aadhaar details, or verify payment, the government has also released an official PM Kisan App on Google Play Store. But the problem is that many fake apps with the same name and logo are circulating outside the Play Store. Farmers who do not have technical knowledge often download them, thinking they are official. 📌 Fake PM Kisan App Frauds Cybercriminals are using fake apps in the following ways: Bank Account Hack – Fake apps ask for your bank details, debit card details, or UPI PIN and later steal your money. Mobile Hack – These apps can gain access to your contacts, SMS, gallery, and WhatsApp. Data Theft – Personal information like Aadhaar number, PAN card, and address is stolen. WhatsApp Account Hack – They use malicious code to steal your WhatsApp OTP and take control of your account. Remote Access – Some apps can take complete control of your phone screen and monitor your activities. 📌 How to Download the Official PM Kisan App Safely? ✔️ Always download the PM Kisan App from Google Play Store only. ✔️ Check the publisher name (NIC eGov Mobile Apps) – this confirms it is government-approved. ✔️ Read reviews and ratings before downloading. ✔️ Do not click on random WhatsApp or Telegram links to download APK files. ✔️ Never share your OTP, UPI PIN, debit card details, or Aadhaar number with any app outside the Play Store. 📌 Steps to Stay Safe Online Keep your mobile software updated. Install a good antivirus app. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for your WhatsApp and bank accounts. Report any suspicious app to the Cyber Crime Helpline 1930. Dial 1930 (Cyber Crime Helpline). File a complaint at the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in). 👉 If your WhatsApp is hacked: Immediately log out of all devices. Enable two-step verification.
