Forty-Five years ago when the Grand Chief Late Sir Michael Somare led PNG into independence, Morobeans supported him throughout his political journey as a leader. Morobe's former Premier and Member for Buang, Titi Christian today recounted his memories with the Grand Chief, Late Sir Michael Somare as the Leader of Pangu Pati. Buang in the Bulolo District was one of the places the Grand Chief visited.
