[Bass] Dream Theater - "Hell's Kitchen - Lines in the Sand" | Bass Cover

Unison part to the last of the “Hell’s Kitchen” and the first part of the “Lines in the Sand” originally performed by Dream Theater. “Falling into Infinity” is underrated album of theirs, but I have few favorite songs I want to see it live and these two songs are the ones. I thought about almost purchasing Chapman Stick because I wanted to play “New Millenium…” I am looking forward to going to their concerts in February! If you are going to the concert in San Jose or Sacramento, I might see you there!! Anyway, original bass by John Myung is muted so what you hear is the sound of the Roscoe Standard 6 String Bass through Volt 276 and the plugin Darkglass Ultra and default compressor plugin in Cubase. The performance is recorded through Cubase 12. Most of the bass part is copied using the tab sheet on Songsterr: https://www.songsterr.com/?pattern=dr... But, I modified some of the fingerings. For the beginners, I was told when I started playing bass… “Tab score is a good resource, but it is just a guideline.” I sometime spend time just using my ears to transcript, but if tab is available online, I rely heavily on it. Below is the list of the equipment I used: Roscoe Standard 6 string bass guitar (almost 10 years old) Volt 276 (reliable audio interface) Monster cables (the cables I like to use) Apple MacBook Pro Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max Apple iPad Detail Studio (an application which allows multicamera recording) RockCheems Guitar Head Phone Holder Mount Aureday Cell Phone Tripod Beginning 00:00:00 HK Unison 1 00:00:24 HK Unison 2 00:00:54 LITS Opening 00:02:16 LITS Opening 2 00:02:54 LITS Unison 1 00:03:29 LITS Unison 2 00:05:00
