Those members whose bookings were cancelled, they can easily go to the society office and claim the refund. 75% of the paid amount will be refunded over a period of approximately 5 months. However, this was only one of the policy for the cancelled bookings. Another policy for the cancelled bookings was that of adjustment and this policy was not known by many members and hence they could not avail it. The cancelled bookings of Capital Smart City Islamabad can not only be refunded with 75% of the amount but also 100% of the amount can be adjusted via merging. Initially the files till 2019 were cancelled, however, now recently the society made another announcement for the Files Cancellation in which the files of 2020 and 2021 are also cancelled. Likewise, the transfer criteria for the files is also changes by the society management. In addition to this, the society has not only cancelled the files but also some of the files are blocked by the management because of the due instalments, however, they can be activated, unlike the cancelled files. Recently, the society conducted a successful ballot of the Overseas Block and the results of the ballot are now uploaded on the official website of Capital Smart City Islamabad.
