🔴Live Gameplay Stream || Assassin's Creed Mirage || Khurasan Gate Guardhouse || Part 3 Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a 2023 action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. It is the thirteenth major entry in the Assassin’s Creed series and serves as a successor to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age and the Anarchy at Samarra, the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq, a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight the Order of the Ancients, who seek peace through control. The narrative centers on Basim’s inner conflict between duty and uncovering his mysterious past. Originally planned as a Valhalla expansion, Mirage became a standalone game with a design philosophy focused on returning to the franchise’s roots—stealth, parkour, and assassinations—rather than heavy role-playing elements. As a result, it is smaller in scale than recent entries while blending mechanics from both classic and modern Assassin’s Creed titles. The game launched on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 5 October 2023, and later on iOS devices in June 2024. It received generally positive reviews, with praise for its world design and classic stealth focus, though some criticism was directed at its characters and story dependence on prior games. Its successor, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, released in March 2025. Plot After the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Last Chapter, modern-day Assassins relive Basim’s memories using his blood sample. In 861 CE, Basim lives as a thief in Anbar, haunted by visions of a jinni and accompanied by his friend Nehal. Seeking to prove himself to the Hidden Ones, Basim infiltrates the Caliph’s palace and steals an ancient artifact. When Nehal kills Caliph al-Mutawakkil to save him, Basim becomes a fugitive. Basim escapes with the help of Roshan, a Hidden One, and trains at their fortress in Alamut, eventually joining the order. He is sent to Baghdad to eliminate members of the Order of the Ancients who have infiltrated the Caliphate to exploit Isu artifacts. As Basim assassinated several targets, he reunites with Nehal, who urges him to uncover the truth behind the artifacts and his visions. Basim ultimately learns that Nehal and the jinni are manifestations of his suppressed memories. In an Isu temple beneath Alamut, he discovers he is the reincarnation of the Isu Loki, once imprisoned there. Accepting his true identity, Basim merges with Nehal and regains Loki’s memories. Though welcomed back by the Hidden Ones, Roshan resigns, and Basim looks ahead to confronting those responsible for his past imprisonment. Valley of Memory In a side story, Basim searches for his estranged father, Is’haq ibn Khalid, in al-Ula. After defeating a group of robbers, Basim rescues his father, only to learn Is’haq suffers from dementia. Though Basim never reveals his identity, their final moments together give him closure and help him move forward.
