To them were born children after the flood. 10:2 The descendants of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tilas. 10:3 The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. 10:4 The sons of Javan: Elisha, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 10:5 From these were divided the coastland nations, each in its own land, after its language, after its families, in its own countries. 10:6 The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. 10:7 The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan. 10:8 The son of Cush: Nimrod. This Nimrod was the first of the mighty men of the world. 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord. He was the ancestor of all the descendants of Eber and the brother of Japheth. 10:22 The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. 10:23 The sons of Aram were Uz, Hur, Gether, and Mash. 10:24 The son of Arphaxad was Shelah, and the son of Shelah was Eber. 10:25 To Eber were born two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the people of the earth were divided. All these were the sons of Joktan. 10:30 Their dwelling place stretched from Mesha to Sephar, in the hill country eastward. 10:31 These were the descendants of Shem, according to their families and languages, in their lands and in their nations. 10:32 These were the families of Noah's sons, who dwelt in the nations according to their lineages. From these were divided the nations of the earth after the Flood.
