Sean, Raf & Gabe all share vocal duties. The family formed the band last July of 2014 and have been performed around the US East Coast Area. They cover variety of songs of different genres but more influenced on classic rock, alternative rock, progressive rock & experimental. Currently, they are working on their original compositions and plan to release an album by early next year (2017). Pre-band era: 2009-2014, in Philly. Before the Arato Brothers formed as a band, they all started on learning classical piano & Suzuki piano where they learned to read musical notations (classical piano) and play by ear (Suzuki piano) as well. They are able to learn all the fundamentals & most advance aspects of music through learning piano. They were also taught by their father to play acoustic guitar at home. With the help of their music teacher, they were all taught to play drums on part time basis. The brothers also love sports! They had a year & a half training in Taekwondo. But they best love soccer & basketball. Formation: 2014- When the family moved to Cherry Hill, New Jersey, the parents decided to enroll the kids at School of Rock where they choose their current individual instruments. They were able to perform couple of shows jamming with other kids @ School of Rock. July of 2014 when the brothers started to rehearse as a band in their home's basement for they were invited to perform for the first time as Arato Brothers Band @ the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on Sept 6, 2014. After that, invitations for more shows started pouring in.
