The holy journey began with the departure of Rama, Sita, and Laksamana to the forest to convince Barata that Rama gives the throne sincerely to him. The news of Rama's journey was heard by Ravana the King of Lenka. Therefore, the loyal assistant of Rahvana named Marica changed himself into golden deer named Harina Kanaka to separate Rama, Laksamana, and Sita. While Rama and Devi Sita having fun enjoying the beauty of Nandaka Park, came the mighty giant named Marica as a golden deer. Sita was very interested then she asked Rama to catch it up. Rama fulfilled the wishes of his wife and left Sita and Laksamana to chase the golden deer. To separate Devi Sita and Laksamana, Marica changed his voice to sound like Rama and asked for help. Sita heard it and became so worried then sent Laksamana to help him. Laksamana knew about the tricks of his enemy and he rejected Sita's order. She gets angry with Laksamana. Finally, Laksamana went to obey Sita's wishes. Before leaving Laksamana tells Sita that she was not permitted to get out of the magical fence he had made then he left her alone in the middle of Nandaka Park. At the same time, Ravana appeared with his servant Delem and immediately arrived in Nandaka forest to kidnap Sita. Unfortunately, he can't pass through the magic fence. Ravana who truly fell in love with Sita changed his form into a thin priest and expected Sita to get out of the fence to feed him and bring some water. Sita was deceived and Ravana successfully brought her to Lenka. While in the middle of the forest Laksamana met his brother Rama. They were shocked and finally realized that all of these events were only the trick of Ravana to separate them. Rama and Laksamana returned to Nandaka Park but on the way back they were blocked by Ravana. Rama and Laksamana were wrapped in a powerful dragon arrow. On behalf of the blessing of Gods then came a Garuda named Jatayu saved them. Then Jatayu asked permission to pursue Ravana to help Sita. Rama gets sorrow mood and Hanuman came to help him. Rama ordered Hanuman to go to Lenka to ascertain Sita's condition. Hanuman successfully met Sita at the Arga Soka garden of Lenka. Sita was very happy to heard from Hanuman that her husband was still alive. After that Hanuman ripped apart the garden of Arga Soka but he was captured by Ravana. Ravana became so wrath and told his servant Delem to burn Hanuman's tail. But Hanuman, who was powerful and incombustible rampaged and burned almost all of the kingdom of Lenka.
