In a accidental encounter, Omid is killed by another survivor who is then killed by Christa without remorse. Unable to truly cope with the grief, Christa becomes more distant, and Clementine can only watch as Christa loses the life in her eyes. As if things couldn't get worse, Clementine is separated from Christa by hostile survivors, and find herself now alone in unknown territory. She manages to find a dog whom she befriends, but that friendship would not last long as the dog attacks clementine over a can of food. With a wounded left arm, Clementine tries desperately to find medical supplies nearby. She happens along more strangers, who despite being friendly at first, lock her in a shed fearing that her dog bite is from a walker.
