In the name of the Father, and of the Son ✠, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🛐 ACT OF CONTRITION I repent of all the sins I have committed until today, and I am sorry with all my heart, because with them, I offended such a good God. I firmly resolve not to sin again, and I trust that, through your infinite mercy, you will grant me forgiveness for my sins and lead me to eternal life. Amen. 🙏 PREPARATORY PRAYER FOR EVERY DAY Most glorious Saint Joseph of Cupertino, patron saint of students, do not despise the supplications we address to you, imploring your help in the examinations of my studies. Obtain for me from the Lord that, as a true source of light and wisdom, you may dispel the two kinds of darkness from my understanding, sin and ignorance, instructing my tongue and diffusing on my lips the grace of his blessing. Grant me acuity in understanding, capacity for retention, method and ability to learn, subtlety in interpretation, and at the moment of examination, grace and abundance in speaking, accuracy in beginning, direction in progress, and perfection in finishing, if this is fitting for the greater glory of God and the benefit of my soul. You, who were singularly favored by God to overcome the difficulties of studying and the worries of exams, implore the Holy Spirit to enlighten my mind and strengthen my memory in the search for his truth and wisdom. Help me especially in the decisive moments of every kind of trial, protect me from the forgetfulness and disturbing anxiety that often affect me. Amen 🙏 LET US PRAY God, our Father, today we ask you, through the intercession of your servant Saint Joseph of Cupertino, to send the Holy Spirit upon us and fill us with your heavenly gifts: Come, Creator Spirit, visit our souls and fill our hearts with your heavenly gifts. You are called the Intercessor of God, the exalted gift without equal, the living source, the fire, the love, the divine and healing anointing. You are the giver of the seven gifts and you are power in the hand of the Father, promised to us by Him, proclaim his works for us. Enlighten our minds, fill our hearts with love, encourage our weakness, as an eternal and protecting force. Repel our enemy and grant us your peace, if by grace you guide us, we leave evil behind.
