The “Unloved” Souls Game – Time to Find Out Why! │Dark Souls II Scholar Of The First Sin (Part 1)

This is a highly edited Twitch VOD from my recent stream. Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin – the most divisive game in the series! Some say it's the best, others say it's the worst. But why? Let’s dive back in and see for ourselves! I originally played Dark Souls II back in 2014, but now I’m revisiting it with Scholar of the First Sin. This version brought visual upgrades, DirectX 11 support, and some changes to enemy placements… but not all of them were well received. From floaty combat to hitbox issues and questionable level design, there are plenty of reasons why this game has its fair share of critics. We’re starting fresh as a Deprived (because why not suffer even more?) and, of course, we have a death counter running. In this first part, we journey through Things Betwixt, Majula, Forest of Fallen Giants, Heide’s Tower of Flame, No-man's Wharf, and reach The Lost Bastille. So, does Dark Souls II really deserve the criticism, or is it another great Souls game? (`⌒´メ)
