Shraddha Ravindran Mridangam: Sri Akshay Ram Prarthana had her initiation to music by her parents: Her father, Sri.P.Nityananda Rao and her mother Smt.Krishnakumari.. She moved to Chennai to learn from Dr.Smt.ManiKrishnaswami. Later from Sri.Chingleput Ranganathan for advanced training. Prarthana has given more than 500 concerts & workshops all over India. She is a “B High” Graded Artist of AIR and a much sought after guru. Shraddha Ravindran learnt violin initially under Smt.Radha sundaresan and Sri. Vid.S.R.D.vaidyanathan and is currently under Vid..A.Kanyakumari. She has been performing in all the prestigious sabhas in India and abroad. .She is an A graded artist in AIR. R. Akshay Ram is one of the senior disciples of Sri Umayalpuram K.Sivaraman and Sri Ghatam V. Suresh and has played over 2500 concerts and is a graded artiste of AIR.
