This time, I hiked several miles deep into the northern wilderness — three days with no warm tent, no sleeping bag, just an insulated mat and a tarp. I always spend a lot of money on camping gear — insulated mats, pillows, warm tents — but in the end, I still head out into the snow and sleep without any of them! 😄 With that tarp, I built a fast winter survival shelter beside a massive rock, and in this video, I’ll show you the kind of shelter that can really save your life during a snowstorm — quick, simple, and effective against freezing cold. In this challenge, I built several bushcraft shelters under fallen trees and between huge rocks, battled through harsh snowstorms, and cooked wild grayling over the fire to keep my energy up in brutal conditions. The temperature dropped all the way down to -4°F (-21°C), but I still managed to cook a piece of wild grayling over the fire. It’s a really fun and intense video — so stop reading and go watch it! 😄🔥 Catch and Cook Winter Survival Skills Extreme Winter Survival Snowstorm Winter Survival Challenge Cold Weather Survival Heavy Snowstorm Bushcraft shelter Bushcarft Skills Solo Camping Hiking Cooking Off grid living Outdoors Exploration #survivalskills #catchingfish #fishing #survival #bushcraft
