We will continue producing industry-leading and world-class worship videos, available on Sunday mornings. Distribution of Single-use packets of the Sacrament is available for weekly pick-up at the side door of the sanctuary on Saturdays from 9 to 10 am for consumption during the virtual worship service. Gluten- and alcohol-free packets available on request. Coffee with Clergy class continues to meet via Zoom on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. Summer break will begin on Tuesday, June 1. Classes will resume after Labor Day. The Healing Service has resumed IN-PERSON gatherings Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. IN THE MAIN CHURCH. Ruth Woodliff-Stanley was elected the XV Bishop of the Diocese of South Carolina on May 1st. If you would like to extend a welcome to her in writing, please forward your cards and letters to the church office no later than May 31st. We will bundle them and send them to our Bishop Ruth on June 1st. Sunday May 23rd is The Day of Pentecost - and we are going to celebrate HCFM style with a picnic! Following the 10:30 service we will have a meal catered and ready to pick up and enjoy outside under the oaks of Miss Ruby’s Garden. Feel free to grab one of the seats that are set up around the tables or to bring your own lawn chair. And don’t forget to wear your RED! IF the weather does not cooperate, meals will be available to go. Our 2nd Virtual Social Night Out takes place on May 21st! We have placed in the church kitchen freezer 25 chicken or beef casseroles and packages of brownies for sharing with others. There will soon be a vegan/ gluten-free item added.
