A Morning Prayer Before You Start Your Day - God, Protect me From Harm and Keep Me Safe in Your Care
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You this morning, grateful for Your love and mercy. Thank You for the gift of life and for waking me to another day. I am grateful for the quiet moments of morning, where I can pause and center myself in Your presence before the busyness begins. Guide my steps today, Lord. Help me to walk in Your wisdom, making choices that reflect Your love and truth. Grant me the patience to handle any challenges with grace and the courage to embrace the opportunities You place before me. May my thoughts, words, and actions be pleasing to You, and may they bring light and love to those I encounter. Father, I lift up my plans and hopes for this day to You. Align my desires with Your will, and lead me in the direction that brings glory to Your name. Protect me from harm and keep me safe in Your care. Guard my heart and mind against any fears or anxieties that may arise, and help me to trust in Your unwavering presence. Surround me with Your peace, and let Your angels watch over me, guiding my path and keeping me secure in Your love. Please, Lord, bless my family and friends with Your abundant grace. Grant them health, happiness, and peace in their daily lives. Guide them in their decisions, strengthen them in their challenges, and fill their hearts with Your love. May they feel Your presence in all that they do and be comforted by the knowledge that You are with them always. As I move through this day, remind me of Your constant presence. Father, Whether in moments of joy or in times of difficulty, may I always remember that You are with me, guiding and sustaining me. Fill my heart with peace, knowing that whatever happens today, You are in control and Your plans for me are good. Thank You, Father, for the countless blessings You have already provided and for those yet to come. I trust in Your provision and Your timing. I surrender this day to You, asking that You use it to shape me into the person You want me to be. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:1-2)
