happy holloween. this is the first time doing this run, there're lots of room to improve. i had so much fun in this and feels really good after i made this. it pushing me to do the things that i'm not always do, like knifing verdugo or U3, managing grenades, etc. it really showed how balance and how fantastic the game is. and how capable and thoughtful old capcom is. unlike new capcom where there're so many sections that feel untested and unfinished. and not to mention they dont design with no merchant on higher difficulty in mind, so if you're going to do those on easy difficulty why are you even call it a "challenge" at this point? and the audacity of making achievements for that, it just blew my mind. do you see how many play style i changed in order to kill each bosses? in DEmake you just shoot at it till it dies, new capcom just expecting players to damage race on every boss you came across and make every boss unmemorable and feels the same. so how's DEmake better than original again? and look at how good ashley's AI is during water room section. if i even try doing the same thing i did here in DEmake, ashley will just keep staring at ganado and crouch down like a lost child, waiting to get grab and for YOU to clear the way FOR her and doesnt do her job properly, OG ashley is never, NEVER, like that and people saying the she is useless then, but there's zero improvement on ashley in DEmake what so ever, in fact, worse. and that bitch just doesnt even follow you properly sometime she just decide to stop moving to stare at downed ganado for no particular reason, OG ashley has never done this. ever. and the worst part? she need 6-8 turns to fully bring up the platform and if she got grab while she's turning the wheel, she had to do it all over again. why? because in TEW2 does that to every single valves in that game, so they copied it. instead of TEW1 that does the opposite. "improvement"? more like deprovement. the demake's "gameplay" in a nutshell: keep throwing your body in there until it work the way, you wanted them to work. because they made the game with so much randomness, that there're no skill involve. they gave you the fakest "trial and error" way to play the game, and normies just accepting it. after what ive been through from DEmake did to me, i want to play RE6 for a change. that garbage made RE6 a better game now. new capcom really did this masterpiece of the game industry dirty. a terrible shame. people who like 4DEmake are the people who ruining game industry, they dont care about quality of the game anymore.... they dont not care about games in general. because they just start playing game probably during the covid, since they've got nothing to do. so they just treat it just a pass time things, like cleaning dishes and stuff. how disappointing. they are just as soulless as the DEmake itself. being so one dimensioned mind, thinking that is how the game suppose to work. disregard the growth of gaming in a past 3 decades. anyway, this is my luckiest run so far, i got 4 blue eyes. 4!! without shooting navistador nest. i usually got only 2 or 3 max even with shooting nest sometimes only 1 from guarantee nest drop. wish i had the same luck when i do casual runs. the reason why i keep FAS in my inventory is to prevent healing items drop, because the game will think that im playing poorly and it will trying to "help" me by dropping green herbs even im not taken any damage and at full health, so i need to keep at least 1 full health healing item(RGY, RG, FAS, x3G) in my inventory to get rid of this very cool feature. i restart checkpoint twice in this run, 1.gatling room at 1:55:48 and 2.verdugo at 2:51:32 you can hear the door closing sound being cut. and, if you can tell me how im not getting hit at 5:35:00 & 5:36:37 i would really appreciate that. its puzzling to me after i watch the footage. i will make another playthrough of this game before i moving on since i want to really cleanse myself and wipe all the garbage that ive been through. i will do kill all, all map treasure, no tune up, no damage, not using rocket this time. well, this run is not using any rocket but, i want to do another kill all. maybe i should do another no merchant but with kill all for new year celebration, we'll see. also, i decreased the audio by 8dB during saddler's boss fight because the stab eye's audio is too loud. i know i am going too far but, its better to go too far than just right amount, if its too quiet, im sorry. timestamps: 0:00 1-1 15:12 1-2 26:30 1-3 40:37 del lago 43:50 2-1 50:30 el gigante 56:00 2-2 1:06:41 cabin fight 1:10:51 2-3 1:15:36 mendez 1:20:13 3-1 1:34:00 water room 1:50:00 3-2 2:07:50 3-3 2:10:56 3-4 2:19:40 4-1 2:32:30 king's grail 2:35:12 queen's grail 2:36:20 4-1 2:46:30 2 garradores 2:51:05 verdugo 2:58:20 4-2 3:17:00 4-3 3:32:23 4-4 3:42:38 salazar 3:47:40 5-1 4:23:48 5-2 4:36:21 bulldozer section 4:44:10 5-3 4:53:04 U3 5:02:21 krauzer 5:09:45 5-4 5:49:22 finale 5:56:19 End
