Nemesis - Alton Towers

Nemesis is one of the most iconic roller coasters in the UK and opened at Alton Towers on the 19th March 1994. The ride was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, a Swiss roller coaster manufacturer that also built Oblivion and Air (now known as Galactica) at Alton Towers. Nemesis features 4 inversions throughout its 2,349ft layout with the ride only standing at 42ft tall. The rides unique and impressive layout helps the train reach a top speed of 50mph, however this feels much faster due to its location next to various rocks.
