Kalakand is a popular traditional Indian sweet loaded with dry fruits which are served during festivals and special occasions. Is moist, juicy, tastes delicious, and has a delicate grainy texture. Kalakand Barfi Recipe: 1. Add 1/4 th cup water into Kadai (That's why milk doesn't stick) and 2-liter milk. We will boil it at a high flame so that Kalakand becomes white in color otherwise at slow flame the color will change. Boil till it becomes half then add half a cup of sugar or adjust it as per your taste 2. Then mix 1/4 tsp citric acid and 1/4 cup water in a bowl and when the milk becomes less than half in quantity then add 2 tbsp from the mixture to milk at the slow flame and mix it well. The milk will minorly curdle and the texture is perfect. 3. After that grease, the plate with ghee and spread the Kalakand Barfi mixture on it and chopped dry fruits on it and let it cool down completely.
