It was a small yet significant event held in my city to raise funds for an environmental cause. I had been training for several months, and finishing the marathon was an incredibly fulfilling experience for me. The medal I received wasn’t made of gold or silver, but its meaning was far more valuable than its material. It was round and had the name of the event engraved on the front, along with the date and a symbol representing the charity's mission. The ribbon attached to the medal was green, symbolizing the environmental cause we were supporting. Beyond its physical appearance, the medal holds immense personal value to me because it represents perseverance, discipline, and my contribution to a meaningful cause.
