May 22, 2025 is a BIG day for Citi! The bank has announced the Citi Strata Card, a full replacement and rebranding of the former Citi Rewards+ Card. The Citi Rewards+ will be completely discontinued on July 20, 2025, at which point existing cardholders will be automatically converted to the new Citi Strata Card. So, if the Rewards+ has any features you want to use, do so prior to July 20th! This includes 2 features that are going away: (1) The 10% Points Back feature and (2) The Round Up to the Nearest 10 Points feature. Here’s the new rewards structure of the Citi Strata Card: 5x points on hotels, car rentals, and attractions booked through CitiTravel.com 3x points at supermarkets 3x points on select transit, including gas stations, electric vehicle charging, and public transportation 3x points on 1 self-select category each quarter, chosen from options like fitness clubs, streaming services, live entertainment, beauty salons, or pet supply stores 2x points at restaurants 1x points on all other purchases Fortunately, the Citi Strata Card will maintain its $0 annual fee. For the limited Citi Transfer Partners list, it looks like you’ll be able to transfer to: Choice Privileges JetBlue TrueBlue Wyndham Rewards To get access to the full list of Citi Transfer Partners, you’ll need to get the Citi Strata Premier.
