Bought a new clothes washer and dryer that are front load models. That puts the doors down awfully low for daily use, and so this style is usually sold with a matching pedestal. Unfortunately, those pedestals are hundreds of dollars and there's not really much too them, so I decided to build my own. This isn't a fancy design, and I ran out of time so it isn't really finished either. Functional though, and it gives you an idea or two for construction techniques that are approachable yet still sturdy.
