24 things I no longer buy to save money in my 20’s and live a more sustainable lifestyle. Want to learn how to live a more sustainable lifestyle? I’ve been slowly stepping into minimalism for the last 2 years, as things fall apart around the home I’ve been replacing them with more zero waste and sustainable alternatives. There are easily 50 things I do not buy to live a more sustainable lifestyle, but for the sake of a shorter video (and to celebrate my 24th birthday) I wanted to share with you 24 things I don’t buy to save money and as a minimalist. I know that sustainable living can seem like there’s a hefty price tag involved for some items in your home, but if you focus on quality, the longevity of your item can last up to a lifetime of uses. I encourage you to conduct a break-even point analysis on some of the items in your home that can be switched, what I found was on average I’d have to buy the plastic version of these items 1-5 times before I started to see the benefits of my investment. ONLY up to 5 times!
