The Ingredients: 2.5 cups frozen bananas 1/4 cup yogurt of your choice 1 scoop @truvani Chocolate Protein Powder (I love Truvani because it only has 6 organic ingredients… If you want to try my favorite protein powder, you can use the discount code “SUPERFOODSGUY” to get 20% off sitewide! ) 1 tbsp. cacao powder 3 tbsp. maple syrup pinch of sea salt 1 cup almond slivers 2 cups dark baking chocolate 2 tbsp. coconut oil The Process: 1. Add yogurt, Truvani protein powder, cacao powder, maple syrup, and sea salt to a food processor. Blend in the frozen bananas using the grater attachment. 2. Transfer nice cream to a new container and put in the freezer for 1 hour, stirring after 30 minutes for a firmer consistency. 3. Scoop nice cream onto parchment paper, individual scoops. Return to the freezer for 30 minutes. 4. Remove one scoop at a time from the freezer, add almond slivers to form pinecone scales, and return to the freezer. 5. Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil by heating in a double boiler (or heat in the microwave in 30 second increments) 6. Remove the pinecones from the freezer and coat with melted chocolate, and then return to the freezer before serving. 7. Optional: top with powdered sugar or monk fruit powder.
