All About Matter, Mass, and Volume | Science Lesson

Look around you—everything you see, touch, or feel is made of matter! 🏠💡 Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space (volume). If it has weight and blocks other things from being in its place, it’s matter. A table? Matter. A backpack? Matter. The air you breathe? Also matter! 🎈💨 But light and sound? ❌ Nope! They don’t take up space and have no mass, so they aren’t matter. Big or small, solid or liquid, if it has mass and volume, it’s matter! Stay tuned for how it changes forms! 🔄💧🔥 🔬 This lesson follows the Ontario Grade 5 Science curriculum but can be used in various science programs.
