Lavender Town itself is one of the most enigmatic towns in all of Pokemon as it features the haunting Pokemon Tower— a Pokemon graveyard where ghost Pokemon who have died roam in sorrow with many legends that surround this strange place. This, and the many conspiracies surrounding this strange town are refledcted perfectly by the eerie theme song. The constant ringing melodies in the keyboard and the melancholic melodies make this theme perfect for Halloween. I remember when I was a kid, I tried not to go to Lavender Town too often and when I had to go to the Pokemon Tower during a run, I would try to finish it as quickly as I could. it’s always a good feeling to do a Pokemon rock cover and this is definitely more different than the other, more lively and uplifting Pokemon theme songs. It was a blast bringing this one to life with my rock guitar and feeling the melancholy of the song, I was inspired to compose two guitar solos for this one.
