Shania Twain is a Canadian Pop Star and she recorded this Hit in 1997. Bassline AS PER THE ORIGINAL LP. *****Note: I show this song because 14 years ago, while in a restaurant in southern Germany, I was asked to 'sit in' on stage with a German rock band, and when they learned I am a Bass Player, they asked me to play bass--right there--with no rehearsal or anything--so I put their bass around my neck and THIS was the song we played! *****The Lesson: A really GOOD bass player can go on stage and play ANY style of music adequately so that NOBODY can say he sucks! I own no part of this music. This is an educational / instructional video where my bass is mixed a little louder than the band so it may be easily heard. Aspiring bass players may see where to place there fingers on the fretboard and where to find the notes as played on the original recording. My bass is a Rickenbacker 4003 Jetglo, made in February 2018. The bridge pickup is covered with my original designed piece of polished stainless steel to look pretty. The tone switch is 'pulled out' to attain a Vintage tone. The strings are still the same factory-issued when new, medium gauge roundwound strings, and playing thru a Marshall B25 MK-2 amplifier with no additional sound effects. You may also benefit by acquiring my two new bass method books, entitled: The New Passion of Playing Bass, and Extreme Bass Grooves, containing original, and challenging to play etudes, bass solos and bass grooves, along with matching note-for-note bass notation, TAB and matching audio.
