If you don't have dumbbells grab a couple water bottles or cans of soup. That is how I started strength training many years ago. This workout has 9 circuits, each begins 1 compound dumbbell strength moves followed by 2 low impact, cardio move we will do twice Tabata style. Combining the compound strength with the low impact cardio will get us a HIIT, high intensity cardio affect. HIIT is the most efficient way to burn fat and calories in a short amount of time. We have 9 circuits to work through bringing the heart rate up and down repeatedly for that HIIT affect which is as if your heart rate was elevated at the high end of your heart rate zone the entire time.
