Pasta Bolognese

This video is about Pasta Bolognese Recipe: 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) 1 medium onion (coarsely chopped) 2 garlic gloves, peeled and coarsely chopped) 1 carrot or 4 baby carrots (coarsely chopped) 1 lb ground beef chuck 28 oz can crushed tomatoes 1/4 cup Italian parsley (chopped) 8 fresh basil leaves (chopped) salt and pepper 1/4 cup freshly grated Pecorino Romano In a large skillet, heat oil. When almost smoking, add onion and garlic and saute of over medium heat until onions become very soft (~ 8 min) Add celery and carrot, saute ~ 5 min. Raise heat to high and add ground beef. Saute, stir frequently and break up any large lumps. Cook ~ 10 min until the meat is no longer pink. Add tomatoes, parsley and basil, cook over medium/low heat until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper. Finish with Pecorino Romano. Enjoy :)
