Tuchel arrived midseason, turned the team around, and won the Champions League just a few months later. Potter arrived midseason and has since overseen the worst form in the club’s recent history. But there is one thing they have in common – both managers have tried to implement a back 4, but have found more success with a 343. We’re not sure if it's still the echoes of Antonio Conte reverberating around Cobham, but whatever it is, this group look happier and more composed using a wing-back-based system.
